Good to have football back

Nothing better than to have football back. Training camp is in session. Oxnard California. Don't really have a clue where it is exactly but don't care. The Cowboys are playing ball again. But they will do it without Quincy Carter. They unexpected release of Carter came into the news today. Jerry Jones said it was not a difficult decision, but he was very disappointed. Word is that Carter told Aveion Cason this morning and was really shook up about it. Cason thought he was kidding but saw the tears in his eyes. I am mixed on this. I thought Carter was a serviceable QB. Not great, but not as bad as people made him out to be. One thing though, he really enjoyed being a Cowboy. He lived it. The Star meant a lot to him. But apparently he screwed up. There is some word that he failed an internal drug test. How can you do that, especially when playing for the Cowboys. They are going to be policing everything to prevent this from happening. Heck, I don't know how many teams do their own drug tests like they do. Carter made a mistake and he is paying for it. Signing Vinnie looks even better now.
