One of the few

Work has been keeping me very busy again. So many things I want to say but do not have the time to put words down. For the most part I have been preparing for a trip up to Minnesota tomorrow. Fly in, fly out, all in one day. I like doing that as a shake up to the normal routine. And yes I am fully aware that I am flying on 9/11. To me it is no big deal. If anything, I want to see if there is any heightened security tomorrow.

Whenever you give blood, they will tell you to rest and lay off any strenuous activity for the rest of the day. I take that to mean a total break from any kind of exercise though I highly doubt riding a bike would be considered to be strenuous under their ideals. Lifting weights yes, pedaling like a mad man, no. I could be wrong but in this case I had other stuff to do. Like get a haircut and then go vote.

I was one of the few that had nothing better to do but vote in a primary where only 3 contests were up for grabs. I figured would get the ears lowered and then go for a walk to the polling place as a form of exercise. Walking sure ain't strenuous. There were some people going in and out of the building when I got there. Some doesn't mean a lot. I was the 51st person to vote in my ward assuming that the ballots were numbered starting at 1. At 5:00. I may have been the 256 person to vote in the district. After looking at the ballot and seeing so few contests were being contested I wondered if it was worth my time. In the end I thought no only because I should have written myself in for one of the openings. Then again I don't know what I would do if somehow I got elected because of my one vote. Now that would be a story.

I firmly believe that no matter what the situation, if you do not place your vote, you have no reason to comment on the issues in question. Everyone always wants to look back at these "important" issues in numbers much higher than the quantity of votes placed.

One word.... IDIOTS !

Oh and on, "Rodgers did look good at QB but his performance was just average." I'll take his game and numbers, considering the microscope he had been thrown under. I see potential from what I saw in that game. We'll see how it goes.

Nice addition to the playlist by the way. It's getting some airtime right now!
