Thursday thoughts

There is a Miller Lite commercial airing that is driving me nuts. It involves a bunch of 30 somethings exiting an elevator into someone's loft apartment. They are carrying Lite beer and lawn gnomes. Apparently the gnomes are to be used for bowling. What the hell does that have to do with the beer or the triple hops message they are delivering? Even worse, at the end of the commercial, there is a doofus on the left side of the screen freaking out because the guy bowls a strike. This clown has never seen a strike before? Miller should fire this ad company immediately for stupidity.

Brewers won? No really, the Brewers won. Looks like Braun has found his bat again. It would be a miracle if they could win a series today.

**

The clap is not a suitable gift for Mothers Day.

**

How is it that some of the people whose job it is to enforce the law would rather break it themselves? The Milwaukee chief of police would rather harass a person openly carrying a gun- legal under the Wisconsin constitution- than crack down on the problems in the inner city. Hint: Gangbangers won't be carrying their guns in the open.

**

Shocker! Our dipshit governor is breaking another campaign promise by proposing we raise the tax on gasoline.

**

As stupid as the Lite commercial is, the Heineken commercial with the wife showing off her expansive closet to the shrieks of her envious friends only to have the men do the same when they are shown a walk in refrigerator closet stocked with beer is genius.

**

I hear I have a case of Hamms waiting for me at a friend's house. Need to stop by and take care of the cats while they gamble it up in Vegas. Still wish I was there. Getting drunk call at 9 pm is not quite the same as yelling Pai Gow! at the top of your lungs.

**

Sadly none of them play Pai Gow.

**

Feel like I haven't done much all day. Probably because I haven't.

**

Brewers are playing pretty good today. Through 6, Bush has a no hitter. Wait...did I just jinx it? Can a fan thousands of miles away jinx a pitcher?

**

Just bought some Summerfest tickets.

**

I would feel much more comfortable if I had no pants on.

**

Bush made it through 7 1/3 before former Brewers Matt Stairs went deep. Pretty good outing for Bush though. Reminds me of how he did the same thing last year.

**

Maybe I will take my pants off when I go to take care of the cats later. You don't need pants when you have pus- er I an't gonna stoop to that joke. Not until I have had some Hamms.

Don't forget to move their couch to the other side of the room to cover up the stain from the party you had.
Hate the Miller Lite commercial for the same reasons.

Had Hamms on tap up in Ely, MN at a local bar which displayed a 4 foot tall replica of the mascot.

Sweet deal too, buy one, get two tokens for two more taps.

Made up for the overpriced burger.
