Over the past year I have had fun of calling global warming nothing more than a big myth. As Climatgate continues to unfold it appears that it was more of a myth than I ever thought. You have to go overseas to find the real news as the media here at home are conveniently ignoring it.

Or in other words, Hey Al Gore you fat ass liar, shut the hell up and give that sham of a Nobel Prize back! Hopefully more of these hypocrites will quiet down and stop telling us how to live our lives.

You haven't stopped and thought for a second that you might be being hoodwinked by people who've turned this into a political argument to keep fossil fuel profits flowing????
Not at all. Some of them have embraced the phony science as well. Plus they aren't the ones insisting that the science was settled. Those who doubted the results had the open mind.
I always doubt what anyone presents as scientific data. And so did other scientists who study climatology. That's why there's a whole shitload of data indicating warming. This is a fact. Now, the question seems to be is it man-made or part of a naturally occurring cycle. Even if it was totally natural, why would it be such a bad thing for us to develop cleaner energy???? Besides CO2, burning fossil fuels produces many things, none of which are good for the air, water, etc. Instead of having some sort of rational discussion about this, people like you have been duped into silly stance because you don't like Al Gore.
There is a shitload of data that has been falsified to indicate warming too. Are you sure your data is correct? The sources for that information have ranged from students to random observations to scientists picking and choosing what to use. Thus there should be a lot of doubt about whether the warming occurred, especially when the main guy says there hasn't been any warming in the last 15 years.
Furthermore, because one believes that global warming is a myth- which it is- it does not mean they are not interested in developing cleaner energy technology. That is a common mistake.
One can't have a rationale discussion with people who keep insisting the science is settled when it clearly has not.
Where has there been data falsified? Just because the numbers need to be adjusted, doesn't mean they are made up. Normalizing data to account for differences over time are pretty standard scientific practice. Penn State found no evidence that Mann falsified anything and he was totally forthcoming. Here's a good example of why the numbers are adjusted and how the global warming deniers have manipulated data to fit their viewpoint.

Phil Jones ring a bell? PSU said they have no proof that Mann falsified data but are still investigating his actions. Whether he falsified the data or simply used it to continue to make false projections his action make him complicit in the hoax.
You still have no proof that global warming exists or that it is the result of man. It snowed a lot because of global warming. It hasn't snowed because of global warming. There is more fog in San francisco because of global wamring. There is less fog in SF because of global warming. Make up your mind on which one it is already!
Then go listen to Phil Jones explain how there hasn't been any warming over the last 15 years. Fact is we are in a cooling period.
