It was one of those mornings. I woke up too soon.
About last night...I saw people I hadn't seen in a long time. We talked, drank, and drank some more. I even made some money when a former co-worker insisted we play heads up poker. $40 bones later he was done. I like getting paid to drink.
My diversity training went pretty good yesterday. Not what I had really expected. I am happy that I went. Good takeaways. I am all about enjoying the company of other people. Now I just won't smack them when they say something I disagree with. Instead I will nod a couple of times.
Then smack them.
My plan of getting work done yesterday so I can do pretty much nothing today is not working out. I have to go talk with my secretary soon for an email she sent yesterday. I need to find me a hot little number to work for me. That way I could stare at her rack and enjoy these talks.
Why aren't we in Vegas yet?
Only 7 and a half hours before I can crash. Or go to happy hour. We will see what happens. What the hell do I know? I think I am technically still drunk. I must be because I wore a sweater to work today.

Sounds like you are having an amusing day. I need an evening like yours in the near future. I just have to make sure that my job won't make me drive 4 or 5 hours the next day. Kinda like what I'm doing today.
Reading and talking with y'all makes me want to book that flight to Vegas more and more every day....

Other than the holidays, I'm scheduled straight into the third week of the new year. If I decided to tell the boss where to stick the job, I'll be booking the flight. Otherwise, I'll be flying or driving to less glamorous places, unfortunately...
