More snow coming today. Followed by bitter cold. The guess (better to call it what it is than a forecast) for next week is highs below zero. Thursday may be a "high" of -6. That ain't a high. That is a lower low. Highs shouldn't be able to be in negative numbers. But that is an old rant that I don't want to get into again.
Not sure how I feel about the Brewers signing Trevor Hoffman. They did this last year with Gagne and it didn't work out. Sure Hoffman and Gagne are vastly different in their style but it just doesn't feel right to me at this moment. Maybe it is the snow that is falling that has me less interesting in baseball right now.
One thing that is pissing me off right now is those ads I keep seeing all over the internet for weight loss. They proclaim Obey this 1 Rule. Why isn't that rule "Put the damn donut down and go for a walk?" This claim they are making can be done not by buying their latest drop-weight-fast product but by eating less, smarter, and getting some exercise.
Not sure what is going on this weekend. Besides shoveling. If anyone has a good recipe for cooking some pork shoulder please leave them.
