The memory is fading

I had some pretty good dreams over the past two nights. Sadly, I cannot recall them. I woke up early Monday thinking I just a great dream. I fell back asleep and woke with the alarm thinking I had an even better one. Same thing last night.

But I can't recall the details.

I know one of the dreams had to do with an "Indiana Jones" type of rescue. I was helping people get through a very difficult obstacle course. It was like a game show except it was real. If they didn't get out, they were going to die. I did get them out but I woke up before I could find out if they won anything.

See, that wasn't even the better dream. I had one that was much better but for the life of me can't recall the details. Same thing with this morning.

Maybe I should start writing some of this stuff down when I wake up just so I have the details.

Maybe it is because I am mellowing out. I had 3 people change lanes in front of me yesterday, each with a very tight space for them to maneuver. Each time I called them a "fucking twat" but that was about it. I didn't allow them to really anger me. Contrary to what people may think, I am not an aggressive driver. I just don't want people thinking that by keeping a safe distance from the car in front of me- one car length-that it is an invitation for them to cram their vehicle in between the two of us. Especially when there is no one behind me.

I used to have a "dream" pad and a pen next to my bed to jot down dreams in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning.

You can also purchase an inexpensive voice recorder and keep it on your bed stand. Moments after waking, turn it on and just ramble about your dream before you forget it.
