The Drinking for Jesus Tour 2004 kicked off Saturday with a stop at Immaculate Heart of Mary. Why do to church when you can hit their festivals instead? The way I see it, I can put as mucn money in their coffers in one night as I can in about 6 months of Sundays. So attend your local church festival and Drink for Jesus!
As for the festival, it was a typical outing. The band (the Boogie Men) was good, the people watching was interesting (his and her flannels???) and the popcorn was only a buck for a huge bag. It made for a good night.
