At times I wonder how I got along without caller ID. There is nothing I like more than to see who is calling now and not even bothering to answer the phone. If I don't recognize the number I can go online and see who it was.
Sometimes these calls can be pretty persistent. For example, I have received a call from the Blood Center every day for the last 2 weeks. They call each day but never leave a message. That seems rude. They want some blood and they want it now but only if they talk to me. Maybe I should tell them I feel sick or have the flue. Then they will leave me alone.
