Yes it is hot. So what?

It was in the 90s here in the greater Milwaukee area. It will be in the 90s again today. So stop your whining. I don't want to hear it.

It was just a month ago when we had the cool spring, with temps maybe getting into the 60s, nudging up to 70. Then people were crying that it was too cold; when was it going to get warmer. Was summer going to arrive?

Well, you got your wishes. But now you are complaining that it is too hot now. For cripes sake, what do you want it to be, too hot or too cold?

Possibly the stupidest part about this is the people that complain like this probably go to hot vacation spots. They will pay money to go to Mexico, Hawaii, or Vegas where it is typically in the 90s.

Or take the guy I saw tooling around in the little Audi convertible the other day. It was maybe in the 80s on Wednesday, a beautiful day to have the top down, and feel the sun on your face. This guy had that car tightly sealed and most likely had the air conditioning on. WTF? You spent that money for a convertible and can't take the slightest bit of warmth?

My advice for a hot day like today is simple. Go to the bar. Oh wait, that is my advice for just about everything.

Ah, here it is. Go to the bar and enjoy a nice Mike's Hard Lemonade. I consider this to be a great hot weather beverage. Cools you off and gets you hooched.

Enjoy your weekend. I am off to be a looper for a friend in his golf tournament. Maybe the Dali Lama will be there and I can get total consciousness on my death bed, which is nice.
