Monday off would have been good too

It was a nice weekend. Beautiful weather. Cold beer. Winning baseball. Good friends.

It was pretty hard getting up and going to work today. I was back at the ballpark again yesterday. A nice complete game shutout by Ben Sheets capped the weekend. Add in a cheap ticket that had us sitting in some nice seats, two for one beers (not kidding!) and a Prince Fielder retro bobblehead and I was a happy baseball watching drunk.

Thus why it was hard to get to work today. I proceeded to leave my ID card at home, forget my password to get into my pc, and when I do remember it, a virus check starts up bogging the pc down. I should be able to work at a normal speed within an hour. It would have been nice to have the day off but I have to work sometime. Or just hop onto a plane to Vegas for the day like some friends did.

I guess that is the price to pay for a nice spring weekend. If so, I will do it every time. Now only if it could get warm enough to put the top down on the car...
