Last month was the annual charity drive at work. Pick a couple good causes and create activities to raise money for each of them. The goal was reached once again even with the supposed "financial crisis" going on.
One of the charities involved was the Humane Society. A worthy cause to save all kinds of puppies and kitties from meeting their maker sooner than later. Part of the charity drive here was to not just give money but to donate specific items to the HS. There were your typical items. Blankets, squeaky toys, bird seed, peanut butter, AAA batteries, Cap'n Crunch Peanut Butter cereal.
Wait...
Batteries, peanut butter, peanut butter cereal? Are we helping animals or the staff eat a nutritious breakfast? I am shocked they didn't ask for french toast with that peanut butter. (sorry, inside joke there). I may create a slip for Maker's Mark and slip it on the display.
I have to admit, I am perplexed why they would want Cap'n Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch cereal for the pets. I am sure there is a good reason but I can't find anything on the net explaining it.
Plus I thought they wanted to help these animals, not hurt them. We all know that Peanut Butter Crunch shreds the top of your mouth. It is like taking a rake to the roof of your mouth. That cereal causes some serious damage so why would you give it to Rover?
Speaking of dogs, it is amazing how Brett Favre went from hero to all Packer fans to biggest douchebag in the span of 10 months. It is freaking hilarious listening to people jabber on about him.
I saw that Zima is soon to be no more. Does anyone know someone who was still drinking that stuff?

I thought they stopped making Zima years ago.
