Thursday thoughts

There is a certain girl at work that reminds me of someone from movies. Porn movies that is. A little known actress that made films in the 80s or 90s. I wish I hadn't tossed out some of my old porn as I would like to find her name and get reacquainted with her, uh, talents. I may go down stairs to consult with a friend who also happens to be the company porn expect.

Cool. Blogger won't load correctly. No links today! Guess I won't link to the story of the chick who stabbed her boyfriend because he was watching porn.

Neat video:

Part of my mission this weekend is to try the new (relatively) bourbon Jim Beam Red Stag. Heard some good things about it and now my post some of this sweet liquor into my belly and pass judgement. I have a feeling I won't be disappointed. Unless it ends up tasting like cough medicine.

Yesterday I was called a racist because I didn't think it was appropriate for President Obama to be wasting time flying all over the world taking his family with him or going to the All Star Game when the country economy is in shambles. I would prefer him to actually be working and leading the country than wearing mom jeans in St. Louis. The man is a good speaker but terrible leader. Some day people will get beyond the color of his skin and realize you can criticize the president for his actions and not his race.

Who am I kidding? Liberals will never be open minded.

I can't help but wonder why my co-workers take guests out to eat at such mediocre restaurants. Yesterday's pick was blah. Granted there aren't many restaurants in the area by the hotel they stay at but Milwaukee isn't that big. A 15 minute drive gets to better places to eat.

Music I am listening to this morning:
Anthrax- I am the Law
White Zombie- Scum of the Earth
Night Ranger- Whatever Happened
Def Leppard- Billy Got a Gun
Red Ryder- Lunatic Fringe
Seether- Rise Above This
Night Ranger- You’re Gonna Hear From Me
Van Halen- Beautiful Girls
Linkin Park- What I've Done
Yes- Leave It

I will never grow up. Yesterday someone dropped of a couple bags of M&Ms off by a group of us. The bags appeared to be just about empty. One guy picked one up and said “I am shaking it to see if anything comes out.” I looked over and asked that he please not shake his bag in front of me. All the guys crack up except for the stick in the mud chick. I may be getting a call from HR this morning. Yep, I still find 8 year old boy mentality humor to be funny.

9:40
Night Ranger- Tell Your Vision
Seether- Fake It
Megadeth- Wake Up Dead
Rob Zombie- Never Gonna Stop
Rob Zombie- Scum of the Earth

I am not sure why my MP3 does this. Though it is on random, it will pick the next song off the same album of the previous artist. Doesn't seem that random, does it?

10:09
Yesterday appeared to be cleavage day at work. Today it is the opposite. Everything is covered up. Sad what a difference 24 hours can make.

Motley Crue- Mother Fucker of the Year
Linkin Park- Bleed it Out

10:32
Morning is going well so far. Have a easy project that allows me to listen to music and take me time getting it done. Would be better if there was some cleavage around...

Twisted Sister- You Can’t Stop Rock n Roll
Van Halen- Where Have All the Good Times Gone?
AC/DC- Live Wire
Def Leppard- Promises
Metallica- So Fuckin’ What
the Offspring- The Worst Hangover Ever

11:07
Meeting time. Not sure why I am involved with this meeting nowadays. I handed off my portion months ago. Guess my "expertise" is needed. I guess it gives me time to eat the chili I have for lunch.

The New Radicals- You Get What You Give
The Offspring- Pretty Fly for a White Guy

12:04
Forgot about the entire company meeting today. Just a regularly scheduled meeting, not a hastily-scheduled-people-are-going-to-be-laid-off meeting. I think I am going the route of my IT brethren and calling in instead of fighting the crowds for a seat in the main hall. I also plan to write some more sarcastic emails to people in the last meeting thanking them for their participation and telling them how we just can get it done without them!

Time for more music as I go back to acting busy.

12:22
Limp Bizkit- Break Stuff
White Zombie- Electric Head Pt. 1

1:13
OK Go- Here it Goes Again
Lit- Lullabye
The Ramones- Blitzkrieg Bop
American Dog- Drinkin’ About You

MP3 decided to move away from the metal for a little bit. Fine by me. Just had a summit with the porn experts in the building. Tried to describe which actress the aforementioned girl resembles but were unable to come up with a name. I do have source to check when I get home and will report the results when I have them. After I do some hours of research that is. Maybe I should leave work early. I don't seem to be feeling well right now...

2:16
Made it through the rah rah meeting and am flying down the back stretch of the day. Music got a bit interesting.
AC/DC- If You Want Blood
Electric Boys- Lips ‘N Hips
Radiohead- Creep
Lit- Needle and Thread
Linkin Park- Bleed it Out- First repeat of the day.
Brad Paisley- Alcohol
Poison- Cover of the Rolling Stone

First country song popped up. Ok, that may be the only country song I have on the player. First cover song popped. Get yourself a copy of this Poison tune. A fun rocking remake of a classic song.

3:30
Night Ranger- I Did it For Love
Night Ranger- Neverland (Live Tokyo version)
Van Halen- Where Have All the Good Time Gone?

Must remember to get cat food on the way home. I have been given some good ideas for birthday gifts from some friends. I just hope they will have them at Toys R Us. I wonder if I should hit the store after getting the cat food or after I eat. If I go later I have a good excuse to stop at the bar for a beer or two.

Wow! You were really busy today.

I too noticed the gay, mom jeans the President had on. i was hoping that maybe he borrowed them to match his Sox jacket.
