It's kinda like a real life Angry Birds

If you own an iPhone or iPad and are not familiar with the game Angry Birds, I feel sorry for you. You are being deprived of one of the most fun and addictive games on the planet. A game that is like a drinking binge that has you having the time of your life but without the hangover.

Today Droid users are getting a taste of this beautiful video game liquor. I expect to hear how they are going to rehab soon.

There is a bit of an Angry Birds vibe at work. My workplace in the northwestern suburbs of Milwaukee has a country feel to it. It isn't uncommon to see deer, turkey, foxes, and other wildlife at different parts of the year. And there are the birds.

I think the birds are out to get the building. Different birds attack the building depending on the time of the year. In the spring and fall, the geese descend on the property. They leave their dropping on both the lawn and the ledges. Though I work on the 3rd floor, the geese make their way on up and seem to enjoy crapping on the ledges.

That is when they are not pecking the glass with their beaks. Some mornings start with an angry goose pacing back and forth, hitting the window pane with quick hits. Sometimes you throw a rubber ball at the window and they fly away. But soon they got used to it and would just stay.

During the summer, the swallows and finches come to town. Like kamikazes, they swoop in and smash into the glass. You can be into your work or attending a conference calls when BONK! You hear this noise and wonder what the heck. You look at the window and notice a feathered body on the ledge. Another bird flew into the glass and gave his life.

In the past, the company I had worked for would clean the ledges now and then. The crap would not sit there for months slowly eroding away. Same with the birds. Unless the window cleaners come by soon, I may witness these birds decomposing into bones. I am hoping the cleaners do not come by for a while.

That's it for now. I must go try and get 3 stars on the new level of Angry Birds.
