4 years, 1395 posts and little has been said

Hard to believe it has been 4 years that While Drinking, I... has been around. Back on May 29, 2004 it all began. 4 years later I have learned a lot of things, met a lot of people, and drank a lot of booze.

It has been an interesting 4 years. I seemed to go all over the map with what I had to say. Sports, beer, liquor, politics, people that annoy me, drinking advice, stupid bumper stickers. Think I have ADD?

At first I thought nothing had been accomplished here. Some would argue that to be fact. But I disagree. Who tells you where to sit at a bar so you can get a good look at the bartender's jugs? Who makes sure you have essential drinking items like a churchkey or a flask? I have given you the cure for the common cold as well as the phrase that lands most people here from the search engines, what to eat while drinking. So I feel like something has been accomplished.

So since it is a "blog birthday" I shall go out and tip a couple later tonight in celebration. That is what got me here and so the tradition must continue. After I clean up the sticky mess on the floor at the friend's house. I am hoping none of the cats got stuck like on a fly strip.
